Gurudwara Sahib (Gurughar) the house of Holy Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The holy book is written, composed and complied by the Sikh Gurus themselves which is worshiped by every Sikh devotee. The Sikh Temple, symbol of freedom and spiritual independence for all devotees. In Sikhism it is a place to meditate, to offer prayers to the almighty . Akal Purakh who runs this whole universe. The Akal Takht is one of five takhts (seats of power) of the Sikhs. It is located in the Harmandir Sahib Golden Temple complex in Amritsar, Punjab The Akal Takht was built by SHRI GURU HARGOBIND SAHIB JI as a symbol for political sovereignty of Sikhs. It stood as symbol of political and military resistance against the Mughal Empire in the 17th and 18th century. GURU SAHIB used to hold a darbar for listening and solving the problem of his followers. This is First of the five TAKHAT SAHIBS of sikh religion.


Gurudwara Shri Akal Takhat Sahib, Amritsar

Takhat Shri Kesgarh Sahib also Known as Gurudwara Shri Anandpur Sahib is situated in Anandpur Sahib City, Distt Ropar. Anandpur Sahib was founded in June 1665 by the ninth Sikh Guru, SHRI GURU TEGBAHADUR SAHIB JI. He previously lived in Kiratpur, but given the disputes with Ram Rai – the elder son Guru Har Rai and other sects of Sikhism, he moved to village in Makhoval. He named it Chakk Nanaki after his mother.


Gurudwara Shri Kesgarh Sahib, Anandpur Sahib

Takhat Shri Patna Sahib is situated in Patna Sahib City in Bihar State. This place is also a Birth Place of SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI. Its Current Building was built by Maharaj Ranjit Singh Ji. The current shrine of Patna Sahib or Takht Sri Harmandirji Sahib was built in the 1950s. Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, was born in Patna, Bihar, in 1666. He also spent his early years here before moving to Anandpur Sahib. Besides being the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh, Patna was also honored by visits from Guru Nanak Dev Ji as well as Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.


Gurudwara Shri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib, Patna

Takhat Shri Damdama Sahib is situated in Sabo Ki Talwandi Distt Bathinda, Punjab. SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI while fighting against the cruel rulers, after leaving Shri Anandpur Sahib and touching various places with his holy presence, GURU SAHIB reached here in the year 1705. It was here that GURU SAHIB took rest by untying his waist band on a raised platform surrounded by Kareer trees. This place became famous as Damdama Sahib. GURU SAHIB stayed at this place for around 1 1/4 year. This was the place where Guru Ji also got the holy Beed of Aad Guru Granth Sahib Ji written by Martyr Bhai Mani Singh Ji. Martyr BABA DEEP SINGH JI got the copies done of the Beed (GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI) & sent it to the 4 Takhts.


Gurudwara Shri Damdama Sahib, Talwandi Sabo

Takhat Shri Hazoor Sahib is situated in Nanded City in Mahrashtra. SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI spent end of his life here in nanded. And handed over Gurushio to SHRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI. The structure is built at the place where Guru Gobind Singh Ji left his earthly life. The inner room of the gurdwara is called the Angitha Sahib and is built over the place where Guru Gobind Singh was cremated in 1708. The gurdwara was built between 1832 and 1837 by order of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji (1780–1839).
